Please note, Zoo Road and the 12th Street Bridge are closed to public access. For those visitors looking to access the zoo's main entrance, please utilize the public address at 210 St. George's Drive NE. (GPS Coordinates)
The easiest way to get to the Calgary Zoo by transit is the C-Train light rail system. Take the Northeast Line (Route 202) to the stop named “Zoo.”
The zoo’s primary public parking lot, the North Lot, is located at 210 St. George’s Drive NE between the zoo’s north entry and Telus Spark Science Centre. Access to St. George’s Drive is off Memorial Drive either east or west – just follow the Calgary Zoo signs all the way to the gate.
The zoo’s secondary public parking lot, the West Lot, is located at the west end of St. George’s Island off of Zoo Road NE and is near the zoo's West Gate and tiger exhibit. The West Lot is currently closed.
A $10 daily parking fee is in effect at Calgary Zoo parking lots. Engage and Inspire zoo members receive FREE parking in zoo lots from 8:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with extended hours during ZOOLIGHTS.
Parking payment is managed through the Calgary Parking Authority and payment machines are located in Alberta Plaza (North Lot), in the West Lot and Administration Lot. Parking payment is valid for 24 hours from time of entry to any zoo parking lot. Tickets for failure to pay for parking will be issued by the Calgary Parking Authority.
